Editorial Photography for M Magazine Cover

We spent two days with Sheriff David Clarke to create supporting images for a story; and, create a cover image that would be compelling for readers.  This is two days that many local reporters would love to have insight on.  The first day was a complete documentary approach to a day as Milwaukee County Sheriff.  The next day we met up was all about capturing the essence of the man himself; showcasing not only him as a Milwaukee leader but as an individual who speaks his mind and sticks to his words.

Below is a piece of custom artwork created for the SMYTH a restaurant located inside the Iron Horse Hotel.  All of the pieces are real life documentations of a modern day blacksmith located in Kewaskum, WI.  We spent two hard working days with him while he forged metal.

This photograph is from the series we created for the restaurant Smyth located inside The Iron Horse Hotel.  We spent two days photographing Dan the blacksmith up in Kewaskum, WI. Stay tuned for photographs of the remodel & photographs installed in the space.  This piece was created with our Mamiya 645 medium format film camera.
