While the project is loaded with political opinions and an interesting man with a tough career; my job was simple, I wanted to document David Clarke and create narration through every image. I needed to create a compelling cover for M Magazine that spoke to the readers. Coincidentally, the cover was nominated for the Best Single Cover Design by the Milwaukee Press Club. While, there were the struggles of art direction and nuisances with getting a horse downtown; I urged and pressed on for the image above. I took inspiration from past portraiture of cowboys or even the modern day Indiana Jones.
